On-Page SEO Checker

Paste a page's HTML and get a score out of 100 with a plain-language list of what to fix.

Runs in your browser · nothing uploaded

How to get the source: open your page, press Ctrl+U (or type view-source: before the URL on Android Chrome), select all, copy, and paste below. Browsers block tools from fetching other websites directly, so pasting keeps it 100% private and in your browser.

How it works

How to use the on-page seo checker

This checker reviews the on-page basics that search engines read first: the title tag and meta description, a single clear H1, a logical heading order, alt text on images, the canonical URL, robots instructions, mobile viewport, language, Open Graph and Twitter tags, JSON-LD structured data, internal and external links, and the amount of visible text.

Why paste the source? For security, browsers don't allow a web page to download other websites' HTML, and this tool has no server. So you copy your page's source (Ctrl+U on desktop, or view-source: before the URL in Chrome on Android) and paste it here. Nothing is uploaded.

Each result is marked Fix, Improve or Good, with the change to make. Fix the red items first; they usually have the biggest effect. A high score means your basics are in place, not that you will rank first — content quality, links, speed and competition matter too.

  1. Open your page and view its source.
  2. Copy everything and paste it into the box.
  3. Add the page URL and an optional focus keyword.
  4. Press Check and work through the fixes list.

FAQ

Questions about this tool

Why can't I just enter a URL?

Browsers block websites from reading other sites' pages, and this tool runs without a server. Pasting the source keeps it fast and private.

Does a score of 100 mean I'll rank first?

No. It means your on-page basics are in order. Rankings also depend on content, links, speed and competition.

My site is built with JavaScript. Will this work?

View-source shows the HTML before scripts run. If your content is added by JavaScript, copy the rendered HTML from your browser's developer tools instead.

Is my HTML stored anywhere?

No. It is parsed in your browser and discarded when you leave the page.
