How it works
How to use the image resizer
Every platform crops images differently. A photo that looks perfect as an Instagram post gets its head cut off as a YouTube thumbnail, and a Facebook cover hides the edges on phones. This free resizer gives you the exact pixel size for each placement and lets you choose which part of the photo stays in frame.
Your image never leaves your device: it is drawn on an HTML canvas inside your browser and saved straight to your downloads, so it is safe for client work and private photos.
Use Fill & crop when you want edge-to-edge images, and Fit whole image when nothing may be cut off, such as a poster or a product shot on a WhatsApp status. Save as PNG when the design has small text or a logo; JPG keeps photos lighter.

Questions about this tool
Is my photo uploaded to a server?
No. The image is processed with your browser's canvas and downloaded directly. Nothing is sent to this website.
What size is a YouTube thumbnail?
1280 × 720 pixels (16:9). This tool exports exactly that size.
What size should an Instagram post be?
1080 × 1080 for square, 1080 × 1350 for 4:5 portrait, or 1080 × 1440 for 3:4. Stories and Reels covers are 1080 × 1920.
Why does my image look blurry after resizing?
If the original is smaller than the output size it has to be enlarged. Start with the largest version of the photo you have.
