How it works
How to use the gst invoice generator
A GST tax invoice needs a few essentials: your name, address and GSTIN, a unique invoice number and date, the customer's details (and GSTIN for business customers), the place of supply, a description with HSN or SAC code, quantity, taxable value, GST rate and amount, and the total in words. This generator lays all of that out for you as you type.
Pick your state and the customer's state: if they match, tax is split into CGST and SGST; if they differ, it becomes IGST. GSTINs are checked for format, state code and checksum, which catches most typing mistakes. Add your logo, bank details and UPI ID so customers can pay straight away, and use Next number to keep a clean sequence.
Nothing is uploaded: the draft is saved only in this browser, and the PDF is made by your browser's print dialog (choose “Save as PDF”). It is suitable for small businesses and freelancers. If your turnover requires e-invoicing with an IRN, generate those invoices through the official IRP instead, and ask your CA if you're unsure.

Questions about this tool
Is this a valid GST invoice?
It includes the fields a tax invoice normally needs, but you are responsible for correct rates, HSN/SAC codes and numbering. Businesses covered by e-invoicing must also generate an IRN on the government portal.
Where is my data stored?
Only in your own browser (localStorage). Nothing is sent to this website. Use Clear to delete it.
Can I make an invoice without GST?
Yes. Leave your GSTIN empty and set item GST to 0%. The title changes to Invoice.
How do I get a PDF?
Press Download PDF / Print and choose “Save as PDF” as the printer. On phones, use the share or print option.
